What else can I say about Mark Deloy’s Southern House but that it is a true southern Gothic horror tale. Well written and creepy beyond imagination. It has it all: old home inherited by wayward grand child in the midst of divorce and pill addiction, creepy old mysterious house in the woods, budding romance mixed with the horror, an evil going back centuries, and a loveable stray dog. I was impressed with Deloy’s writing style and the depth he put into these pages. Strong character development and setting, you felt like you were there watching it all unfold from the shadows. The Southern House is one horror tale you do not want to miss.
